Types of stats
No health? Yep, I think you are dead.
- Types of Stats -
Stats determine and represent the whole of a character and the extent of its capabilities. All stats have their own role in determining how strong a character is and in what way they are most proficient. Each stat has its own purpose.
HEALTH
Health is the total amount of damage that can be taken altogether by basic and special abilities, like a video game health bar; the total amount of life. This is one of the stats that can go up and down during battle due to taking damage, healing, or buffs. This is the most important stat, for if there is no more health then the OC is either going to die, already dead, or going to have some type of permanent damage taken. After a battle, no matter what OC's total health is, takes an hour to refill.
Heath = amount of health stat
MANA
Mana is the stamina for magic type attacks. It calculates how many repetitions of special abilities based on magic that can be performed. Like health, this is one of the stats that can go up and down during the battle due to being drained, regeneration, or buffs. Basic magic abilities do not take from the mana pool. Special abilities, the higher the level is, will take more out of the pool. This can be regenerated by neutral abilities.
Mana = amount of mana stat - mana used through special abilities
STAMINA
Stamina is how long you can last and how many repetitions can be completed when doing extensive physical Special abilities. Like mana and health, this stat can go up and down during battle due to being drained, regeneration, or buffs. Basic stamina abilities do not take away from the stamina pool. Special abilities, the higher the level is, will take more out of the pool. This can be regenerated by neutral abilities.
Stamina = amount of stamina stat - stamina used through special abilities
DEFENSE
The amount of buffered out damage after an opponent attacks. It weakens attacks to an extent depending on defense stat level and a dice roll. This stat can only change with a buff or an opponent's debuff, it cannot be affected any other way. This stat is a dice stat, which means every time a defense ability is used then the defender needs to roll a dice with has as many sides as they have in defense stat, times that defense abilities level, to find out the total buff for a basic defense ability. Can only dodge fully if defend more then attack gives.
Defense = !roll number def stat * level of def ability
OFFENSE
The basic amount of attack power that the OC has. It is the total basic attack damage going to be given by an ability that is stamina or mana. It is dependent on stat level. This stat can only change with a buff or an opponent's debuff, it cannot be affected any other way. This stat is a dice stat, which means every time an attack ability is used then the attacker needs to roll to find out the total power of the attack. The attacker rolls a dice with the same number of sides as the level of their Offense stat. If using a leveled ability, roll first, then times that by the abilities level.
Offense = !roll number offense stat * level of offense ability
